Joe scuderi has confirmed he is returning to the professional ranks taking over at Ribblesdale Wanderers, after his efforts as amateur over the last two years with Nelson I am sure his runs will be sadly missed. Nelson CC wishes him all the success his talent deserves.

Paul Garaghty has left the building after all those decades of seeing him win the batting prize and set club records forever, he has had the call of the bookie and anounced his retirement. Will we ever see his like again, I think not. Thanks for the memories Paul from all at NCC. Bradders continues as skipper for 2006 and is joined by the next generation (how old must he feel), lets hope the junior success of recent years brings a crop to be proud of.
